I went to the Art Basel yesterday. But how disappointing...i was hoping to see some impressive works there but most of it was crap on my opinion. i saw some works of schiele, klimt, picasso, klee, matisse, barney etc. but i had the feeling that the galerists didnt want to show their best works. most of it were sketches and unspectacular drawings.
and the rest was just shit. and oh my god - the people there were such a bunch of arrogant and money-smelling people. sometimes it was more fun to watch them and hear they say things like "oh i really need to have a Beuys" or "how much is it? only 300.000€?".
i said to my girlfriend that it would be nice if i could puke at the push of a button. then i would watch these people and "art works" and everytime i dont like it i would just puke...another way of modern art expressionon, huh?
well i guess i am more the traditional arts fan.

i am quite confused actually

Just returned from Rome - it was awesome.
I saw at lot of works from the old masters like Michelangelo, Caravaggio, DaVinci etc.
Also the architecture is really nice. All of you have to visit this city once in life.
Now i am continuing studying and i probably wont have much time for painting and drawing anymore. But there will be holidays and i will be ready

i have a few free weeks. my plans: i will be visiting rome for a few days. trying to earn some money somehow, continue my new unfinished painting and improving proportions of human by drawing bodybuilders.
